Inspired by Country Spoon’s Classic Mint Julep, I wanted to give my version a little extra down-home, Southern flair by using Apple Pie Midnight Moon Moonshine. Don’t have silver julep cups? No worries! I gave my juleps a little uptown flair with these vintage, silver-dipped martini pitcher and glasses.

crushed ice
1 T. xylitol, pulverized (or powdered sugar)
6-8 fresh mint leaves
1/2 c. Apple Pie Midnight Moon Moonshine
Fill martini pitcher or mixing glass with crushed ice. Add mint and pulverized xylitol and stir until dissolved. Add moonshine and stir again. Pour into glasses garnished with a fresh mint sprig and additional crushed ice (if needed).
Makes 2 cocktails.
